MUSIC AND TRADITION The first piece of music I thought about when considering Christmas music played at church was Silent Night. This song provides such a beautiful picture of the birth of Jesus!! We sing it in our candlelight service at home every year. It was also a song I sang in chorus when I was in the 4th grade...Whether I was on key or not was up to the audience to decide, but I sang my heart out! This song is a classic that I enjoy listening to, no matter the season. "Amazing Grace" is another song that is very dear to my heart. There is so much beauty and truth wrapped up in this song in reference to the grace we are shown by Jesus. I videoed this in Scotland while we were on a mission trip and actually the man playing the bagpipes is on the street that led up to the Edinburgh Castle, which is pretty cool!
